An Act to make an Appropriation of certain Reserves of Land for the Nelson Hospital.

    [Repealed]

    The Preamble was repealed, as from 19 November 1907, by section 2 Statutes Repeal Act 1907 (1907 No 40).

BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

1 Short Title
  • The Short Title of this Act is The Nelson Hospital Reserves Act 1888.

2 Nelson Hospital reserves
  • The lands described in the Schedule, and the buildings known as the Immigration Barracks, erected on the lands first described in the said Schedule, and all buildings and erections used for the Nelson Hospital, are hereby vested in the Nelson Hospital and Charitable Aid Board, constituted under The Hospitals and Charitable Institutions Act 1885, having control of the said hospital, for the purposes of a general hospital at Nelson, subject to the said Act.

  • ALL that piece or parcel of land situated in the City of Nelson, containing by admeasurement 1 acre, more or less, being Section No 662. Bounded on the south by Examiner Street; on the east by Waimea Street; on the west by Wellington Street; and on the north by Section No 663.

  • All that piece or parcel of land situated in the City of Nelson, containing by admeasurement 7 acres, more or less, being Sections Nos 928, 930, 932, 934, 936, 938, and 940. Bounded on the south-west by Section No 942; on the south-east by Waimea Road; on the north-west by Kawai Street; and on the north-east by Franklyn Street.

  • All that piece or parcel of land situated in the Survey District of Motueka, in the Provincial District of Nelson, containing by admeasurement 330 acres, more or less. Bounded on the north by a road forming the southern boundaries of Sections Nos 11 of 61 and 44; towards the west by a road forming the eastern boundary of the latter section; again towards the north by Section No 40; towards the east by a road forming the western boundaries of Sections Nos 34 and 33; towards the south by Section No 15; again towards the east by a road forming the western boundary of Section No 15; again towards the south by Sections Nos 13 and 5 of 61; and again towards the west by Section No 13 of 61, and intersected by two public roads.

  • All that piece or parcel of land situated in the Provincial District of Nelson, containing by admeasurement 304 acres 1 rood 38 perches, more or less, being Sections Nos 155 and 156, Takaka, Waitapu Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east partly by a road forming the south-western boundary of the Township of Clifton, partly by Sections Nos 64 and 63, and partly by a public road; towards the south-east by Sections Nos 151, 62, and 97; towards the south-west by Section No 160; and towards the north-west and again towards the south-west by public roads forming the south-eastern and north-eastern boundaries of Section No 157; and again towards the north-west by the high-water mark of Golden Bay.
