The land described in the Schedule hereto, and all buildings and erections thereon, are hereby vested for an estate in fee-simple in Alexander Lean, Lieutenant-Colonel, commanding the Canterbury District of Volunteers; Caleb Whitefoord, Captain in the Kaiapoi Rifles; and Joseph Lowthian Wilson, Lieutenant in the Kaiapoi Rifles, as trustees, to hold the said land and buildings as a drill-shed for the use of the Kaiapoi Volunteers, subject to the provisions of an Act passed or intended to be passed during the present session of the General Assembly in Parliament, and which Act is shortly intituled, The Volunteer Drill-sheds and Lands Act 1888.
