An Act to enable the Greytown Trustees to convey certain Lands for Public Purposes.

  • Preamble

    WHEREAS the lands detailed in the Schedules to this Act form part of the lands vested in the present Greytown Trustees pursuant to the provisions of The Masterton and Greytown Lands Management Acts Amendment Act 1883: And whereas it is expedient that the Greytown Trustees should be empowered to convey or transfer the lands described in Schedule 1 to this Act to the Wairarapa District Hospital Board for the purposes of an infectious diseases hospital, and the land described in Schedule 2 to this Act to the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Greytown for the purposes of a municipal town hall:

BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—
