WHEREAS by Order in Council dated the first day of June, eighteen hundred and eighty-six, and published in the Gazette of the third day of June, eighteen hundred and eighty-six, all that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Wellington, situate in the Manawatu District, being Suburban Sections Nos 307 and 308 on the plan of the Town of Palmerston North, containing approximately nine acres two roods, was vested in the Manawatu and West Coast Agricultural and Pastoral Association in trust as a site for an agricultural and pastoral show-ground: And whereas it has been agreed between the Minister of Agriculture and the said association that the association shall transfer to His Majesty the King a portion of the said land, containing approximately two roods sixteen perches, as described in Schedule 1 hereto, for the purposes of a dairy school and dairy experimental station: And whereas the land described in Schedule 2 hereto is vested for an estate in fee-simple in the Manawatu and West Coast Agricultural and Pastoral Association, and the said association has agreed to transfer the same to His Majesty the King for the purposes aforesaid: And whereas, in consideration of the premises, it has been further agreed between the said association and the Minister of Agriculture that part of the residue of the said Sections Nos 307 and 308, being approximately equal in value to the land described in Schedule 2 hereto, should be released from the trust by virtue of which it is held as a site for an agricultural and pastoral show-ground, and should remain vested in the said association free from any trust:
