• Preamble

  WHEREAS by the Christchurch City Empowering Act 1946, the Christchurch City Council is required, on transferring any surplus moneys from any trading undertaking to the General Account, to transfer the moneys subject to the payment of interest and to the retransfer of the moneys on terms and conditions approved by the Local Government Loans Board: And whereas it is now desired to repeal the said Act:

BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—
