Bounded towards the North-west by Castle Street, four hundred (400) links; by the Water of Leith, two hundred and ten (210) links; by Castle Street, one hundred and ten (110) links and two hundred and thirty (230) links; by the Water of Leith, four hundred and eighty (480) links; also by Castle Street, two hundred (200) links: towards the North-east by St David Street, sixty-seven (67) links and three hundred (300) links; towards the South-east by Leith Street, one thousand (1,000) links, four hundred and fifteen (415) links), and four hundred (400) links; and towards the South-west by Albany Street, five hundred (500) links, and intersected by Union Street, one hundred (100) links wide, also by two (2) road lines, and the Water of Leith.
