Oamaru Town Hall and Gasworks Sites and Recreation Reserves Act 1875

2 Governor may grant lands in Schedules A to E to Corporation of Oamaru

• It shall be lawful for the Governor to cause grants from the Crown of the several parcels of land described in Schedules A, B, C, D, and E of this Act to be issued to the Municipal Corporation of the Town of Oamaru, to be held by the said Corporation in trust for the purposes following, that is to say,—

  All that parcel of land described in Schedule A, as and for a site for a town hall;

  All that parcel of land described in Schedule B, for purposes of public recreation;

  All that parcel of land described in Schedule C, for purposes of public utility for the Town of Oamaru and the inhabitants thereof;

  All those two parcels of land respectively described in Schedule D, for purposes of public recreation;

  All that parcel of land described in Schedule E, for a road and right of way to Drill Shed Reserve, School Reserve, and Recreation Reserve.
