No person shall be appointed a Judge unless he has held a practising certificate as a barrister or solicitor for at least 7 years.
Section 6 was amended, as from 1 January 1958, by section 6 Judicature Amendment Act 1957 (1957 No 9), by substituting the word “practice”
for the word “standing”
