Note

This Act is administered in [Te Puni Kokiri (Ministry of Maori Development]. The words Iwi Transition Agency were substituted, as from 1 October 1989, for the words Department of Maori Affairs pursuant to s 4(1) Maori Affairs Restructuring Act 1989 (1989 No 68). Those words were in turn substituted, as from 1 January 1992, by the words Te Puni Kokiri (Ministry of Maori Development pursuant to s 9(3)(a) Ministry of Maori Development Act 1991 (1991 No 145).
