230 Restrictions on licensing of landbrokers

    Subsection (1) was amended, as from 1 April 1964, by substituting the words real estate agent, for the words land agent pursuant to section 84(2) Real Estate Agents Act 1963 (1963 No 135).

    A reference to the Land Agents Act 1953 in subsection (1) was substituted, as from 1 January 1954, for a reference to the Land Agents Act 1921-22 pursuant to section 32(1)(a) Land Agents Act 1953 (1953 No 86). That reference was in turn substituted, as from 1 April 1964, by a reference to the Real Estate Agents Act 1963 pursuant to section 84(1) Real Estate Agents Act 1963 (1963 No 135). That reference was in turn substituted, as from 1 April 1977, by a reference to the Real Estate Agents Act 1976 pursuant to section 125(a) Real Estate Agents Act 1976 (1976 No 9).

    The reference to the Building Societies Act 1965 in subsection (1) was substituted, as from 1 January 1966, by section 139(1) Building Societies Act 1965 (1965 No 22).

    Sections 229 to 234 were repealed, as from 26 August 2002, by section 64(1) Land Transfer (Computer Registers and Electronic Lodgement) Amendment Act 2002 (2002 No 11).
