66 Offenders to give name and address to rangers, etc
  • (1) Where any person is found offending against this Act or against any regulations or notification under or pursuant to this Act, it shall be lawful for any authorised person as defined in subsection (3) of section 61 to require the offender forthwith to desist from the offence and also to tell his real Christian name, surname, and place of abode.

    (2) Every person who, after being required to desist from offending under subsection (1), wilfully continues the offence commits a further offence against this Act and is liable on conviction to the penalty set out in section 67F(5).

    (3) Every person commits an offence against this Act and is liable on conviction to the penalty set out in section 67F(5) who, after being required to give his or her Christian name, surname, and place of abode under subsection (1),—

    • (a) fails to give his or her real Christian name, or surname, or place of abode:

    • (b) gives a false name or place of abode.
