The Queen Elizabeth the Second Postgraduate Fellowship of New Zealand
An Act to establish the Queen Elizabeth the Second Postgraduate Fellowship of New Zealand and to make provision with respect to the Fellowship
Whereas Her Majesty Elizabeth the Second, by the Grace of God of the United Kingdom, New Zealand and Her Other Realms and Territories Queen, Head of the Commonwealth, Defender of the Faith, has graciously agreed to accept a gift from the Maori people of New Zealand to be devoted, in accordance with the wishes of Her Majesty, to the advancement of the Maori people so that all the people of New Zealand may benefit:
And whereas the gift is to take the form of a Fellowship to be known, in accordance with the gracious approval of Her Majesty heretofore duly given, as the Queen Elizabeth the Second Postgraduate Fellowship of New Zealand:
And whereas the principal terms relating to the Fellowship are contained in a Memorial, a copy of which is set out in the Schedule, presented to Her Majesty at Waitangi on 6 February 1963:
And whereas it is necessary to make provision with respect to the Fellowship.
