1 Short Title and commencement

• (1) This Act may be cited as the Decimal Currency Act 1964.

  (2) Parts 1, 4, and 5 shall come into force on the passing of this Act.

  (3) Parts 2 and 3 shall come into force on a date to be appointed by the Governor-General by Proclamation.

  Section 1(3): Parts 2 and 3 brought into force, on 10 July 1967, by the Decimal Currency Act Commencement Order 1967 (SR 1967/67).
