Acts are laws made by Parliament
(1) This Act may be cited as the Alcoholism and Drug Addiction Act 1966.
(2) This Act shall come into force on a date to be appointed for the commencement thereof by the Governor-General by Order in Council.
Section 1(2): Alcoholism and Drug Addiction Act 1966 brought into force, on 1 January 1969, by the Alcoholism and Drug Addiction Act 1966 Commencement Order 1968 (SR 1968/210).
