2 Interpretation
  • In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires,—

    Commonwealth country means a country that is a member of the Commonwealth of Nations

    the Convention means the Vienna Convention on Consular Relations signed in 1963, a copy of the English text of which is set out in Schedule 1

    Minister means the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade.

    Expressions defined in Article 1 of the Convention have the meanings so defined.
