18J Additional penalty for removing substance from or damaging reserve
  • (1) Any person convicted of an offence against section 18I of this Act shall, in addition to any penalty for which the person may be liable under this Act, pay to the Department the full market value of any substance removed from, or for the damage done to, the reserve or to any marine life growing or being in the reserve.

    (2) The value or damage or cost shall be assessed by a District Court Judge, and shall be recoverable in the same manner as a fine.
