Acts are laws made by Parliament
(1) Where a deposited unit plan relates to an estate as lessee or licensee in any land, the provisions of this Part of this Act shall apply notwithstanding anything contained or implied in the lease or licence or any enactment or rule of law to the contrary.
(2) The provisions of Parts 1, 3, and 4 of this Act in so far as they relate to an estate as lessee or licensee in any land shall be read subject to the provisions of this Part of this Act.
(3) In this Part of this Act the term lease includes a licence, and the terms lessor and lessee have corresponding meanings.
