New Zealand Legislation: Acts
Acts are laws made by Parliament
(1) Subject to subsection (2), and except as expressly provided in this Act, this Act binds the Crown.
(2) Except as expressly provided in any agreement made under this Act, nothing in this Act applies to—
(a) any defence area; or
(b) any defence fire brigade; or
(c) any member of the New Zealand Defence Force within any defence area.
