15 False statements
  • Every person commits an offence against this Act and is liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 1 year or to a fine not exceeding $1,000 or to both who, for the purpose of obtaining, whether for himself or any other person, the grant or renewal of any licence under this Act or for any other purpose in relation to this Act,—

    • (a) makes any declaration or statement which to his knowledge is false in any particular; or

    • (b) utters, produces, or makes use of any declaration or statement which to his knowledge is false in any particular; or

    • (c) knowingly utters, produces, or makes use of any document that is not genuine.
