24 Licensing of operators for wild animal recovery services

  Subsection (1) was amended, as from 14 December 1979, by section 9(1) Wild Animal Control Amendment Act 1979 (1979 No 146) by inserting the words “, and may, either on application or of his own volition, amend or revoke such a licence”.

  Subsection (1) was substituted, as from 12 October 1982, by section 7(1) Wild Animal Control Amendment Act 1982 (1982 No 26).

  Subsection (1A) was inserted, as from 14 December 1979, by section 9(2) Wild Animal Control Amendment Act 1979 (1979 No 146).

  Subsection (1A) was substituted, and subsection (1AA) to (1AC) were inserted, as from 12 October 1982, by section 7(1) Wild Animal Control Amendment Act 1982 (1982 No 26).

  Subsection (1B) was inserted, as from 14 December 1979, by section 9(2) Wild Animal Control Amendment Act 1979 (1979 No 146).

  Subsection (1B) was amended, as from 12 October 1982, by section 7(2) Wild Animal Control Amendment Act 1982 (1982 No 26) by substituting the words “subsections (1A) and (1AC)” for the words “subsection (1A)”. It was further amended by the same provision by inserting the word “, suspended”.

  Subsection (2) was amended, as from 14 December 1979, by section 8(c) Wild Animal Control Amendment Act 1979 (1979 No 146) by substituting the word “operates” for the words “commercially hunts or kills animals as the operator of”.

  Subsection (3) was amended, as from 12 October 1982, by section 7(3) Wild Animal Control Amendment Act 1982 (1982 No 26) by inserting the word “, suspended,”.

  Subsections (5) to (7) were inserted, 14 December 1979, by section 9(3) Wild Animal Control Amendment Act 1979 (1979 No 146).

  Subsection (7) was amended, as from 1 July 1995, by section 10(1) Department of Justice (Restructuring) Act 1995 (1995 No 39) by substituting the words “chief executive of the Department for Courts” for the words “Secretary for Justice”.

  Part 2 (comprising sections 21 to 23) was substituted, as from 1 October 1999, for the previous Part 2 (comprising sections 21 to 26) by section 9 Wild Animal Control Amendment Act 1997 (1997 No 80).
