27 Exemptions for veterinarians and certain registered health practitioners

Notwithstanding anything in section 17 or section 18, but subject to the other provisions of this Act and to any regulations made under this Act,—

(a)

any veterinarian may manufacture, sell, supply, or administer a medicine for the treatment of an animal under the care of that veterinarian or under the care of another veterinarian, and may pack or label the medicine for the purposes of any such sale or supply:

any person may sell or supply—

(i)

to a veterinarian, or, if so required by that veterinarian, to any other person, any medicine for administration to an animal under the care of that veterinarian.
