(1) This Act may be cited as the Broadcasting Act 1989.
(2) Except as provided in subsection (3) of this section and in section 84(3) of this Act, this Act shall come into force on the 1st day of July 1989.
(3) Parts 3 and 4 of this Act, sections 82 and 87 of this Act, and Schedule 1 to this Act shall come into force on the day on which this Act receives the Royal assent.
