17 Registration procedure

On receipt of an application that complies with section 16, and is completed to the satisfaction of the Registrar, the Registrar shall—

(a)

record in the register the particulars set out in the instrument required by this Act to be registered and the time at which the particulars are so recorded; and

(b)

issue a certificate as to the particulars recorded in the register pursuant to paragraph (a); and

(c)

retain a record of the instrument in the Registrar’s office; and

(d)

forward the certificate issued under paragraph (b) to the person who presented the instrument for registration.
