19 Protection of persons acting under authority of Act

• No person appointed under section 14 who does any act in pursuance or intended pursuance of any of the functions, duties, or powers conferred by or under this Act shall be under any civil or criminal liability in respect of the act, whether on the grounds of want of jurisdiction, or mistake of law or fact, or on any other ground unless he or she has acted in bad faith or without reasonable care.
