Acts are laws made by Parliament
(1) Subject to subsection (2) of this section, this Act applies only to serious offences committed, or believed to have been committed, after the commencement of this Act.
(2) Subsection (1) of this section does not apply in respect of foreign forfeiture orders, foreign pecuniary penalty orders, or foreign restraining orders.
Subsection (2) was inserted, as from 1 April 1993, by section 3(2) Proceeds of Crime Amendment Act 1992 (1992 No 87).
Section 7 was amended, as from 1 April 1993, by section 3(1) Proceeds of Crime Amendment Act 1992 (1992 No 87), by adding the words “Subject to subsection (2) of this section”
