49 Notification, availability, and commencement of code

(1)

Where a code of practice is issued under section 46,—

(a)

the Commissioner shall ensure that there is published in the Gazette, as soon as practicable after the code is issued, a notice—

(i)

indicating that the code has been issued; and

(ii)

showing a place at which copies of the code are available for inspection free of charge and for purchase; and

(b)

the Commissioner shall ensure that so long as the code remains in force, copies of the code are available—

(i)

for inspection by members of the public free of charge; and

(ii)

for purchase by members of the public at a reasonable price.

(2)

Every code of practice issued under section 46 shall come into force on the 28th day after the date of its notification in the Gazette or on such later day as may be specified in the code.
