69 Investigation of interference with privacy of individual

(1)

The functions of the Commissioner under this Part shall be—

(a)

to investigate any action that is or appears to be an interference with the privacy of an individual:

(b)

to act as conciliator in relation to any such action:

(c)

to take such further action as is contemplated by this Part.

(2)

The Commissioner may commence an investigation under subsection (1)(a) either on complaint made to the Commissioner or on the Commissioner’s own initiative.
