375 Proceedings for offences

• (1) The offences specified in—

  • (a) subsections (1), (2), and (3) of section 373; and

  • (b) section 374—

  are triable summarily.

  (2) The offences specified in subsection (4) of section 373 are triable on indictment.

  (3) Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in the Summary Proceedings Act 1957, any information for an offence referred to in subsection (1) may be laid at any time within 3 years after the date of the offence.

  (4) Nothing in sections 377 to 380 affects the liability of any person under any other Act, but no person shall be convicted of an offence against any of those sections and a provision of any other Act in respect of the same conduct.
