Acts are laws made by Parliament
(1) This Act may be cited as the Takeovers Act 1993.
(2) Except as provided in subsection (3) of this section, this Act shall come into force on the 1st day of July 1994.
(3) Section 17 and Part 3 come into force on 1 June 2001.
Subsection (3) was substituted, as from 1 June 2001, by section 3 Takeovers Amendment Act 2001 (2001 No 30).
