1 Short Title and commencement

• (1) This Act may be cited as the Health and Disability Commissioner Act 1994.

  (2) Except as provided in subsection (3) of this section, this Act shall come into force on the day after the date on which it receives the Royal assent.

  (3) Part 4 and sections 76(1), 76(2), 81(1), and 81(3) of this Act shall come into force on a date to be appointed by the Governor-General by Order in Council.
