Acts are laws made by Parliament
(1) This Act may be cited as the Chemical Weapons (Prohibition) Act 1996.
(2) This Act shall come into force on a date to be appointed by the Governor-General by Order in Council.
Section 1(2): Chemical Weapons (Prohibition) Act 1996 brought into force, on 29 April 1997, by the Chemical Weapons (Prohibition) Act Commencement Order 1997 (SR 1997/47).
