An Act to amend the State Sector Act 1988 so that it no longer applies to kindergarten associations or their employees

BE IT ENACTED by the Parliament of New Zealand as follows:

1 Short Title and commencement
  • (1) This Act may be cited as the State Sector Amendment Act 1997, and is part of the State Sector Act 1988 (the principal Act).

    (2) This Act comes into force on the day after the date on which it receives the Royal assent.

Amendments to State Sector Act 1988

  • Part 1 (comprising sections 2 and 3) was repealed, as from 2 October 2000 by section 241 Employment Relations Act 2000 (2000 No 24).

2 Interpretation (section 2)
