6 Interpretation (section 2) [Repealed]
An Act to amend the State Sector Act 1988 so that it no longer applies to kindergarten associations or their employees
BE IT ENACTED by the Parliament of New Zealand as follows:
(1) This Act may be cited as the State Sector Amendment Act 1997, and is part of the State Sector Act 1988 (“the principal Act”
).
(2) This Act comes into force on the day after the date on which it receives the Royal assent.

Part 1 (comprising sections 2 and 3) was repealed, as from 2 October 2000 by section 241 Employment Relations Act 2000 (2000 No 24).

Part 1 (comprising sections 2 and 3) was repealed, as from 2 October 2000 by section 241 Employment Relations Act 2000 (2000 No 24).
This section amended the definition of the term official in s 99 Crimes Act 1961 (1961 No 43).
This section substituted para (b)(i) of the definition of the term public servant in s 3(1) Electoral Act 1993.
