An Act to amend the Radiation Protection Act 1965

BE IT ENACTED by the Parliament of New Zealand as follows:

 
1 Short Title

This Act may be cited as the Radiation Protection Amendment Act 1997, and is part of the Radiation Protection Act 1965 (“the principal Act”).

2 Offences

(1)

Section 26(2) of the principal Act is amended by omitting the expression “$200”, and substituting the expression “$10,000”.

(2)

Section 26(2) of the principal Act is amended by omitting the expression “$10”, and substituting the expression “$500”.
