Adoption (Intercountry) Act 1997 No 109 (as at 08 September 2010), Public Act

1 Short Title and commencement

  • (1) This Act may be cited as the Adoption (Intercountry) Act 1997.

    (2) This Act comes into force on a date to be appointed by the Governor-General by Order in Council.

    Section 1(2): Adoption (Intercountry) Act 1997 brought into force, on 1 January 1999, by the Adoption (Intercountry) Act Commencement Order 1998 (SR 1998/427).
