An Act to amend the Judicature Act 1908 for the purposes of reconstituting the Rules Committee and providing for the appointment, in appeals in the Court of Appeal, of technical advisers

BE IT ENACTED by the Parliament of New Zealand as follows:

 
1 Short Title and commencement

(1)

This Act may be cited as the Judicature (Rules Committee and Technical Advisers) Amendment Act 1999, and is part of the Judicature Act 1908 (the principal Act).

(2)

This Act comes into force on the day that is 28 days after the date on which this Act receives the Royal assent.

2 Rules Committee

This section inserted s 51B of the principal Act.

3 New sections inserted

This section inserted s 99B to 99D of the principal Act.
