35 Status of delegations

(1)

The Speaker is not prevented from exercising or performing any function, duty, or power delegated under section 34.

(2)

The Speaker may revoke a delegation at any time by written notice to the delegate.

(3)

A delegation continues in force according to its tenor until it is revoked.

(4)

If the person who made the delegation ceases to hold office as Speaker, the delegation continues to have effect as if made,—

(a)

until the election of the next Speaker, by the Deputy Speaker; and

(b)

after that election, by the next Speaker.
