20 Certain powers not to be delegated

• Despite section 73 of the Crown Entities Act 2004, the board must not delegate any of the following powers:

  • (a) [Repealed]

  • (b) the power to acquire or dispose of real property (otherwise than in relation to an estate):

  • (c) the power to form and register a subsidiary (otherwise than in relation to an estate):

  • (d) the power to borrow money (otherwise than in relation to an estate):

  • (e) the power to appoint a chief executive.

  Section 20 was amended, as from 25 January 2005, by section 200 Crown Entities Act 2004 (2004 No 115) by substituting the words “Despite section 73 of the Crown Entities Act 2004, the” for the word “The”.

  Paragraph (a) was repealed, as from 25 January 2005, by section 200 Crown Entities Act 2004 (2004 No 115).
