Principles guiding treatment of victims

7 Treatment

Any person who deals with a victim (for example, a judicial officer, lawyer, member of court staff, Police employee, probation officer, or member of the New Zealand Parole Board) should—

(a)

treat the victim with courtesy and compassion; and

(b)

respect the victim’s dignity and privacy.
