151 Forfeiture of goods by consent


If goods have been detained in the custody of the chief executive or a Customs officer, the importer or consignee of the goods may, by notice in writing to the chief executive, consent to the goods being forfeited to the Crown.


On the giving of a notice under subsection (1), the goods are forfeited to the Crown.
