(1)
The chief executive of the Ministry must appoint, under the State Sector Act 1988,—
the Commissioner of Trade Marks; and
as many Assistant Commissioners of Trade Marks as may be necessary for the purposes of this Act.
(2)
Those persons are employees of the Ministry, and those appointments may be made separately or in conjunction with any other office in the Ministry.
