191 Declarations, etc, on behalf of certain persons

(1)

Any of the relevant persons described in subsection (2) may make a declaration and do anything required or permitted by or under this Act in the name and on behalf of a person who is not 18 years or over or is incapable of making a declaration or doing that thing.

(2)

The relevant persons referred to in subsection (1) are—

(a)

the person’s guardian:

(b)

the person’s statutory administrator, if any:

(c)

a person appointed by the court who has jurisdiction in respect of the person’s property.

(3)

An appointment may be made by the court for the purposes of this section on the application of—

(a)

any person acting on behalf of a person who is not 18 years or over or is incapable of making a declaration or doing anything required or permitted by or under this Act; or

(b)

any other person interested in the making of the declaration or the doing of the thing.
