155K No liability if powers exercised in good faith

(1)

This section applies to—

(a)

a Customs officer; and

(b)

a person who assists a Customs officer under this subpart.

(2)

No person to whom this section applies is liable for any act done or omitted to be done by the person in the exercise or intended exercise of his or her powers under this Act if the person acted—

(a)

in good faith; and

(b)

in a reasonable manner; and

(c)

in the reasonably held belief that the prerequisites for the exercise of any power had been satisfied.
