Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 2002

The Parliament of New Zealand enacts as follows:

1 Title
  • (1) This Act is the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 2002.

    (2) In this Act, the Sale of Liquor Act 1989 is called the principal Act.

2 Commencement
  • This Act comes into force on the day after the date on which it receives the Royal assent.

3 Variation, suspension, or cancellation of licences other than special licences
  • (1) Section 132(1)(a) of the principal Act is amended by inserting, after the word Authority, the words or a District Licensing Agency.

    (2) Section 132(6)(a) of the principal Act is amended by inserting, after the word Authority, the words or a District Licensing Agency.
