258C How Crown Observer appointed

The Minister must appoint a Crown Observer by notice in writing. The notice must include the following information:

(a)

the terms of reference of the Crown Observer, including—

(i)

an outline of the problem in relation to which the Crown Observer has been appointed; and

(ii)

the extent of his or her authority; and

(b)

the start and end dates of the appointment; and

(c)

the start and end dates of the observation period.
