14 Functions and powers of Chief Librarian

• The Chief Librarian must perform the functions and exercise the powers delegated to him or her by the National Librarian under section 41 of the State Sector Act 1988 for preserving, protecting, developing, and making accessible the collections of the Alexander Turnbull Library.
