206 Suspension or cancellation of licensed promoter’s licence

(1)

The Secretary may suspend for up to 6 months, or cancel, a licensed promoter’s licence if the Secretary is satisfied that—

(a)

the licensed promoter is no longer suitable to hold the licence, in terms of section 201(2) or (3):

(b)

the licensed promoter is failing, or has failed, to comply with—

(i)

this Act; or

(ii)

the licence; or

(iii)

the licensed promoter’s agreement.

(2)

In deciding whether to suspend or cancel a licensed promoter’s licence, the Secretary must take into account the matters in section 201.
