108B Clubs that operate gambling equipment at non-commercial class 4 venues must make financial statements available to members


This section applies to a corporate society that is a club that operates gambling equipment at a non-commercial class 4 venue that—


it owns or leases; and


is mainly for the use of club members.


A corporate society to which this section applies must ensure that a copy of any financial statements referred to in section 108(1)(b) and a copy of the auditor’s report on those statements are sent to the members or shareholders of the society (if any) within 20 working days after the annual report is required to be provided to the Secretary under section 107.


A corporate society that contravenes subsection (2) commits an offence and is liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $10,000.
