4 Rate of contributions by former contributors under Part 2
5 Sections 61G and 61H repealed
The Parliament of New Zealand enacts as follows:
(1) This Act is the Government Superannuation Fund Amendment Act (No 2) 2003.
(2) In this Act, the Government Superannuation Fund Act 1956 is called “the principal Act”.
“the principal Act”
This Act comes into force on 1 July 2004.
Section 61B of the principal Act is amended by—
(a) omitting from subsection (1) the words “Except as provided in subsection (2) of this section, the”, and substituting the word “The” ; and
“Except as provided in subsection (2) of this section, the”
(b) repealing subsection (2).
Section 61F of the principal Act is amended by repealing subsection (1), and substituting the following subsection:
“(1) The contribution to be made by a contributor under this Part who made, or is deemed to have made, an election under section 61E to contribute to the Fund under this Part is 6.5% of the contributor's salary.”
Sections 61G and 61H of the principal Act are repealed.
