Acts are laws made by Parliament
(1) Sections 40 to 44, 92, and 103(1) and (2) come into force on a date to be appointed by the Governor-General by Order in Council.
(2) The rest of this Act comes into force on the day after the date on which it receives the Royal assent.
Section 2(1): sections 40–44, 92, and 103(1) and (2) brought into force, on 9 September 2004, by the Land Transport Management Act Commencement Order 2004 (SR 2004/237).
