6 Office of Children's Commissioner continued
  • (1) There continues to be a Commissioner called the Children's Commissioner, being the Commissioner who, immediately before the commencement of this Act, was known as the Commissioner for Children.

    (2) The Commissioner is—

    • (a) a corporation sole; and

    • (b) a Crown entity for the purposes of section 7 of the Crown Entities Act 2004; and

    (3) The Crown Entities Act 2004 applies to the Commissioner except to the extent that this Act expressly provides otherwise.
